PrimaDeli has implemented steps to ensure that the food hygiene, sanitation and processing standards for which it has earned Grade A status for 14 consecutive years and a silver award from the AVA, are continually sustained.

With this system in place, Prima Food Pte Ltd, which manages homegrown bakery chain PrimaDeli, regrets that, due to non-foreseeable circumstances, members of the public have been taken ill.

The management of PrimaDeli is cooperating fully with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) with their ongoing investigations.

The entire facility is undergoing disinfection from today. PrimaDeli will also be subjecting all their staff who are handling bakery products to stringent medical checks, over and above those that have already been stipulated by the authorities. This is to ensure that all its food handlers are medically fit and not carriers of any bacteria-borne conditions.
