We wish to address the concerns everyone with this update:

PrimaDeli has drawn up and put in place, with the guidance of the AVA and MOH, a plan of action to work towards the restarting of our operations. We have appointed a team to work closely and effectively with the authorities. They keep in constant contact and are regularly updated to ensure that the action plan progresses expeditiously.

In line with this plan, the authorities will be making their checks and inspections at the PrimaDeli facility. We will only resume operations after being given the green light by the AVA.

We have received about 50 calls on our hotline and wish to assure our customers and the public that everyone who has contacted us will be attended to and compensation matters will be addressed accordingly. Our hotline number is 6277-7171.

The PrimaDeli staff who have tested positive for Salmonella are receiving appropriate medical treatment. In the meantime, our production staff are on paid leave and awaiting the go-ahead from the authorities to begin operations.

When we have an update on the resumption of our operations, we will keep the public informed through the media.

We wish to reiterate that we are sorry and saddened by the recent incidents of food poisoning, due to Salmonella, as stated in the MOH and AVA preliminary findings. We are glad to know from the news reports that those who were hospitalised, have been discharged and everyone who has been taken ill, is on the road to recovery.
