We at PrimaDeli are sorry and saddened by the recent incidents of food poisoning, due to Salmonella, as stated in the MOH and AVA preliminary findings. We empathise with the customers who are ill and wish them a speedy recovery.

We wish to assure our customers and the public that every incident referred to us will be looked into and their concerns will be addressed accordingly. For this, we have set up a hotline and the number is 6277-7171.

PrimaDeli is working hand in hand with the MOH and AVA to investigate the cause of the incidents. Investigations are still ongoing and we hope that the public will be patient and await the confirmed results from the authorities.

PrimaDeli has been awarded the Grade A status for food hygiene, sanitation and processing by the AVA for the past 14 years consecutively. We have a good track record and an excellent reputation with our customers and the public throughout the history of PrimaDeli since our establishment in 1992.

We ensure that, before employment, all PrimaDeli staff are medically screened and have met with the medical requirements stipulated by the authorities. We have proactively sent all our bakery staff who were not screened by the MOH, for further medical tests to ensure that they are well and healthy.

We have closed the production facility for disinfection, with effect from 4 December 2007. As a precautionary measure, we have also taken the initiative to temporarily close our PrimaDeli retail outlets.

We are committed to ensuring that this problem can be resolved expeditiously and we look forward to your kind understanding and support during these difficult times.

We have also received enquiries about our Prima Taste products. These products are manufactured in a separate and independent facility. We strongly assure you that the Prima Taste products are safe for consumption.
